Reseta is a nutrition and wellness mobile application developed by Pidotis. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to being transparent about our practices.

2. Data Collection

We may collect the following data depending on how you use the app:

• Name and email address (if you create an account)
• Health and fitness data: meals, weight, activities, sleep, hydration, mood, steps
• Meal photos (for AI analysis, processed in real-time and not stored on our servers)
• HealthKit data (steps, weight, sleep, workouts, resting heart rate) with your explicit permission
• App preferences and settings

3. Data Usage

Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the app experience:

• Generate personalized calorie goals and macro targets
• Track nutrition, weight, activities, sleep, hydration, and mood
• AI meal analysis (photo recognition, nutrition label OCR, text description)
• AI coach responses and daily menu generation
• Cloud synchronization across your devices (if you have an account)

4. Storage & Security

By default, all your data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. If you create an account, your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored securely on Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL servers. Row Level Security (RLS) ensures that only you can access your own data.

5. Third-Party Services

• OpenAI (GPT-4.1 Nano): meal photo analysis and AI coach. Images are processed in real-time and not retained by OpenAI.
• Open Food Facts: barcode lookup for nutritional information. Free, open-source API. No personal data shared.
• Supabase: cloud storage and authentication. Data hosted securely with RLS protection.
• Apple Sign In / Google OAuth: authentication only. We receive your name and email, nothing else.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of all your personal data
• Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Rectification: correct any inaccurate personal data
• Erasure: delete your account and all associated data (Settings > Delete Account)
• Opposition: use the app in offline mode without creating an account

7. Cookies & Trackers

Reseta does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics. We do not track your browsing behavior or share data with advertisers.
