Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Fractalogie mobile application ("the app"). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. What Fractalogie is — and is not
Fractalogie is an AI-guided self-reflection tool. It mirrors recurring patterns in what you describe, to support your own awareness.
Fractalogie is not therapy, medical care, or mental-health treatment. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. If you are in distress or think you may hurt yourself or others, contact your local emergency number (112 in the EU, 988 in the US) or a qualified professional immediately. Fractalogie is not a crisis service.
2. AI-generated content
The analyses, questions and "revelations" in the app are generated by an AI model from what you write. They are interpretive reflections, not facts or professional assessments. They can be inaccurate, incomplete or wide of the mark. Use your own judgment, and take from them only what is useful to you.
3. Your account
You can use the core of the app without an account. Signing in (Apple or Google) enables cloud sync of your scans. You are responsible for the security of your sign-in method. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time in the app (Me → delete my account).
4. Membership & payments
- The app includes one free scan.
- Founding Access is a monthly auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple. The price is shown in the app before purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Payments are processed by Apple; refunds follow Apple's policies.
5. Your content
What you write in a scan remains yours. You grant us the limited license needed to process it (including via our AI provider) solely to operate the service — never to train models, never for advertising. See the Privacy Policy for details.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the app unlawfully, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to harm others. We may suspend access that violates these terms.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its design, brand and content (other than your content) are protected and remain ours. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app.
8. Disclaimer & liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Changes & termination
We may update the app and these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page. You may stop using the app at any time; deleting your account erases your cloud data.
10. Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by French law. Disputes belong to the competent French courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
