Privacy Policy

The short version: Last Cup is built privacy-first. Your caffeine logs, your profile and your sleep feedback live only on your iPhone. There is no account, nothing syncs to a cloud we run, and we never sell your data.

1. What stays on your device

Everything personal you put into Last Cup is stored locally on your iPhone (in the app's on-device storage) and is never uploaded to us:

• Your drink log (what you drank and when)
• Your profile: weight, chronotype, caffeine sensitivity, smoking and hormonal status, bedtime and wake times, daily limit
• Your sleep feedback and the calibration that personalises your caffeine half-life

If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your iPhone, this on-device data may be included in your encrypted Apple backup. That backup is governed by Apple's privacy terms, not ours.

2. What we collect

To understand whether the app works well and to fix bugs, Last Cup may send anonymous, aggregated usage and diagnostic analytics (for example: which screens are opened, crashes, and performance metrics). This data:

• is not linked to your identity and contains no account (there is no account);
• is not used to track you across other apps or websites;
• never includes your personal caffeine, profile or sleep data.

Analytics are processed by PostHog on EU-based infrastructure. If you prefer, you can disable analytics from the app's settings where available.

3. Purchases

If Last Cup offers a paid plan, purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and a payment processor (RevenueCat) that confirms your subscription status. We never see or store your payment details.

4. What we never do

• No advertising and no ad identifiers (IDFA).
• No selling or sharing of personal data with data brokers.
• No third-party tracking SDKs that follow you across apps.
• No upload of your caffeine, profile or sleep data to our servers — we don't run any.

5. Deleting your data

Because your data lives on your device, you are always in control. You can clear your history from within the app, and deleting the app removes all of its local data from your iPhone.

6. Children

Last Cup is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Medical disclaimer

Last Cup provides general wellness information about caffeine and sleep based on published research. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Always consult a qualified professional for medical concerns.
